WMS worked with Hollywood Woodwork to provide finishing, color-matching, repair and touch-up services on the upscale millwork they're installing in the facility. We began the work in October, 2003 and continued until the opening of the resort in 2004.

The facility is an upscale, full-amenity resort and convention center, with 400,000 square feet of convention space, 1,511 rooms, four acres of lush indoor gardens, and a 25,000-square-foot world-class spa and fitness facility. It is a six-hundred-million dollar project of Gaylord Entertainment.

The project was conceived and begun as "Opryland Texas Resort and Covention Center," but in November 2003, the name was changed to "Gaylord Texan Resort." The facility features prominent Texas-style themes and decor throughout. It is slated to open April 2, 2004.
